Q.

Picky Eater

My son is 2 years old and is healthy. Since he started attending creche, it has become a struggle to get him to eat full and balance meals (he was a big eater before). He prefers to only eat meat. As a single father I do not know what to do or if this is normal. I am concern that he is not picking up weight as before, but he is very active and healthy. Do I have to give any supplements? Please help

As you say at the start of your question, your son is healthy and active. Most children change their eating habits at this age and eat less for a while. This is just a stage with your son. Do not be concerned. He may even eat quite well at the creche and that is why he is not hungry when he gets home. Do not try to force him to eat. Just let him eat with you at all mealtimes. Put his food in front of him and give him a spoon to feed himself. He will watch you and will eat what he needs. Later on he will start eating well again.
