Q.

Phlem and Rinex

Hi

My baby is now 10 mths old. Is it ok to give Rinex ped. syrup 2ml three times a day and for how long can I give it to him? He has alot of phlem on his chest and the pharmacist said I must try the Rinex. He als has a runny nose but the mucus is white not green. I''m using Sterrimar for the nose. He has no fever and appears to be fine. The phlem on his chest is very loose, you can hear it when he breathes. What is your opinion? Is Rinex save or is there anything else I can use.

You should not give Rinex to your baby as it is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.He is responding well to the Sterimar you are using for his nose. He will clear the phlegm from his chest by himself so do not give him any medicines for this.
