Q.

Phlem

Hi, I find that if my child is chesty and vomits for some reason, all the stuff comes out and she is fine soon after that.
Is there such a thing that will induce vomiting to get rid of the phlem?

In the old days children were often given a medicine called Ipecac which induced vomiting and got rid of chest mucous at the same time. This is no longer advised. The only medicine now available that may relieve your child's chest mucous is Flemeze or similar products.
