Q.

persistant coughing

Hi Doc

My Daughter is 5yrs old and recently she has been coughing mostly at night and early mornings. Its been ongoing now for about 3 weeks now.She has been to the GP and was on a course of antibiotics for flu and since then the coughing hasnt stopped.
Any advice on what could cause this or anyone you can recommend that we can take her to.We live in Durban.

This sounds like asthma. You have great experts in Durban. Try to get an appointment with Dr Ahmed Manjra. I think he is in Westville.
