peri-oral dematitis

my 19 month old son has peri oral dermatitis. it has been ongoing for about 6 months. i thought it was just dribble rash but hasnt gone away and he has cut all his teeth except the back molars. the dermatologist put him on a course of anti biotics to clear it up but the 5 day course has finished and it hasnt gone away. he said after 10 days if it came back he must have another course. my concern is why hasnt it gone away at all. will it get worse before it gets better. the pharmacist said i should try beeswax as well. what do you think? i am also wondering if it is maybe the first growth milk which is causing n allergy do you think there could be a relation? do you have any advice for me please?

This rash is often known as lick eczema. It often occurs in children whose noses are blocked and who mouth breathe. If his nose is blocked then use Salex nose drops twice daily to clear his nose.Antibiotics are of no use. Give your son a probiotic now to counter the effects of his recent antibiotic.Apply Zinc Cream at bedtime to the rash around his mouth. Give him Zinplex syrup twice day as Zinc deficiencey is also possible cause of this kind of rash. I agree that you should stop the Parmalat and use a regular full cream milk instead.
