Q.

Painful when she pee

Hi Doc, My four year old daugther complains about her painful vigina when she pee. She suffered from severe exzema when she was still a baby, still is but now is stable and manageble with precautions and treatment. Do you think the inflamation/rush in her vigina is related to exzema and if this wont harm her in the long run as this is a sensetive area. Please advise.

If your daughter is complaining about pain on passing urine, the most likley cause is a urinary system infection. This type of infection is very common with little girls of this age. Please ask your doctor to see her and to test her urine for a possible infection.
