pain relief

My baby was born on monday and i am now home again, I was given Myprodol as i am still getting some pain with the cut from having a cesarian.

Please advise as I am not too sure if i should be breast feeding while taking these tablets but in two days i have taken 6 tablets and just worried if anything can happen to my baby??

You should probably not be taking Myprodol while breastfeeding.Traces of this medicine will pass into your breast milk.

This upsets me very much for i was also prescribed Myprodol for pain after my ceaserian and i have been taking it for three weeks now. My baby suffers from severe stomach cramps and i dont know why for i follow a very strict non gasy diet. Is it The Myprodol?
