Paediatrician on glycerine suppositories

Thanks Paediatrician and New Mom for your advice. Las nite I went to buy infant glcerine suppositories from a pharmacist. When i xplained my LB was only a month old, the pharmacist told me i couldn' t use the stuff as it was only for children 6 months old and above. I didn' t buy the stuff, but, when i read the box it said it the suppositories was safe even for children under two years. Is the stuff only for 6 month olds and above or can be used even for my 1 month old? Advice will be appreciated.

You can use a single [once only] infant glycerine suppository.

Hi robb,

The Infant Glycerine Suppository is completely safe. The Paed prescribed one for me when my baby was just 7 wks and it really helped. See doc' s advice on your previous Post.
