Paedeatric pulmonologist

Hi doc, I looked up this specialist and they are so expensive! they want R2 000 for the first consultation and I can deff not afford that. Do you think its really necessary to see one? the cough is not bothering her at all. Is there anything else I could do?

Paediatrician

Babies should not cough from birth. There must be a reason why this is happening. If possible take your baby to the paediatric out patients department at your nearest academic hospital. Your baby will be examined there and referred to the specialist in the paediatric department.
