Q.

Overweight Baby

Hi there,
My little Girl is no 7 months and weighs 10 kg. She is a tall baby, but still a bit chubby. She has been drinking Isomil since 3 months and currently drinks 900 ml per day with 2 small jars of veg. She refuses to drink tea or water. Can i dilute her milk or will this do harm?

I need to have information about your baby girl's length is as this is important. Her weight is certainly well above the average weight of 8kg for a 7 month old baby girl. It may be that she is just a very tall and big baby and her weight is in keeping with her length. Her diet seems fine and she is taking the cotrrect amount of Isomil.Do not dilute her Isomil. It would help me to answer your question properly if you let me know about her present length.
