Q.

orelox 100 for a 7 year old child

My 7 year old is taking orelox 100 tablets for acute sinusitis in. 1 tablet every 12 hours. Should she be on this antibiotic for 5 days or 10 days. The GP felt the orelox junior would be too weak for her

This antibiotic is usually given for 10 days especially for strep infections.Strep usually causes tonsillitis and not sinusitis in children.The Orelox junior would be too weak to control her infection.
