Oral thrush + cough and runny nose

My little girl is 15 months old, ever since she started creche she''s been having flu every second month. Now she has developed oral trush, she''s coughing and she has a runny nose. I took her to the GP, he gave her some antibiotics and mulitivitamins and said they will also help with the sores in the mouth, Is there something else I can give her just to boost her immune system because she''s loosing weight as well.

I am concerned about your baby and her present illness as well as the fact that she is losing weight.Has her immunity been tested? She should be seen by a paediatrician. In the meantime give her a probiotic such as Probiflora Paed to boost her immunity and help to clear the thrush in her mouth.

Would you recommend a paediatrician around Pretoria, preferably Louis Pasteur or Muelmed.
