Q.

One year ols is anaemic

My granddaughter got slightly sick a month ago. then she had tonsillitis followed by sinusitis. the doctor ran lots of tests because nothing was helping her and her energy levels were non-existent. we have just found out that she has extremely low iron levels. what can we do? any suggestions please! thank you

This form of anaemia is due to low iron levels and is known as iron deficiency anaemia. Giving your little granddaughter an iron supplement such as ferrous gluconate 3 times a day with meals for about 2 months will cure her anemia.
