Q.

Omega-3 supplement

Dear Prof

A second question - both my 1 yo and 3 yo are still on formula, mainly because I want to assure that they get in the necessary essential fatty acids. I am thinking of changing them to normal cows milk and then rather supplement with an omega-3 preparation? what would you recommend? it should not contain any omega-6 or -9. Many thanks once again!

The Omega 3 1000mg salmon oil capsules available in several brands in pharmacies and in supermarkets are excellent sources of Omega3. You can simply cut the capsule open for each of your children and squeeze the contents onto their food once daily.
