not sleeping well

hi doc
i have a nine month old baby boy.he normally goes to bed just after 9pm.the problem is he can' t sleep still, he tosses and turns the whole night and even wakes himself up while doing that.he sometimes cries and he doesn' t want his milk when this happens and i can also see that he is still sleepy. sometime he jumps like he' s having a bad dream. when he is hungry he drinks his milk and goes back to sleep, but before you know it he is up again.could he be sick? what can i give him?

There is nothing you can give your baby to make him sleep. He seems to be unusually restless for a baby of his age. I am concerned that he seems to be so 'jumpy' He may just be teething but his behaviour is a bit worrying. Is there any history of epilepsy in your family?Just ask your paediatrician to see him to be sure that all is well with him.
