Noisy when sleeping

Hi Dr,

My son will be 3yrs in January. 2 weeks ago he had a fever that wasn''t going away. We were alternating Ponstan &  Empaped suppositories every 6-8hrs. He did not have any infections, pains or anything. However, ever since then I have noticed that he is very noisy when he sleeps. It is as if he is snoring. Should I take him to the doc? Will it clear on its own? Could this be linked to the fever he had?

Please advise
Thank you.

Your son does seem to be snoring.Snoring means that your son's nose is very blocked. As this is something new it may just be due to hard and crusted up mucous in his nostrils from a recent cold. Use Salex nose drops twice daily to try to clear his nose. If he is still snoring after a week of Salex treatment then he should be seen by his doctor.
