No Milk

Hi Doc

Compliments of the new year!

My son is 17months and doesn' t want to take his milk anymore (Nespray 1+). He only wants to drink juice. Is this normal? Can i stop giving him milk at this stage or do i need to change to a different brand.

Thank you for your good wishes.Although milk is no longer absolutely essential in your son's diet if he eats a full mixed diet and eats dairy products such as yoghurt,I would still prefer that he does drink milk. Fruit juice is no substitute for milk and too much is not good for his teeth.Obviously he likes the sweet taste of fruit juice.Try him on a good tasting milk such as Parmalat First Growth milk.
