No fluids

Good day
My 11 month old refuses to drink any other liquids ie,juice, water, rooibos tea . I have offered it to him in a bottle, a sippy cup and even a straw cup - he loves drinking with a straw but he chokes very often whilst drinking even vomiting his food .
I''m concerned about his fluid intake as he also only drinks 150mls of Isomil for the whole day although his wet nappies are quite adequate and urine is not concentrated.
How would you advise me to offer other liquids into his diet as i have even fed him water with a syringe as well?

It is odd that your baby seems to be taking enough fluid on the one hand as measured by his wet nappies and non concentrated urine. Yet he takes very little fluid indeed. Obviously 150ml of Isomil is too little. Why is he on Isomil? Is he allergic to milk or intolerant to milk. If he can tolerate dairy products then it would be a good idea to change him over to a growth milk such as Parmalat First Growth milk now. He is nearly 1 year old and it would not do him any harm to change to this formula if you are sure that he is not allergic to cow's milk.
