night cry

hi doc my son is 3years old almost every night he wakes up crying. at first i thought it was hunger and i make sure he is full before sleeping but its still the same. is there anything i could do? could it be a medical problem?

Your son may be having bad dreams or night terrors. This is very common and is a passing phase. Go to him and reassure him when he wakes up crying. Once he has settled down you should leave his room. It will help to put a night light in his room.
