Q.

Newborn stools

Hi,

My two week old baby seems to have discomfort when she is passing stools, she is breastfeeding, her stools are not hard and yellowish in colour. Should I take her to the doctor to check her out?

Your little baby's stools sound normal from your description here. Many babies of this age seeem to strain when they need to pass a stool. She is being breastfed which is good. There is no need to take her to see a doctor.
