Q.

Newborn Baby

Afternoon

I would like to know if it is ok to give my 12 day old baby water to drink as it is very hot. She is currently being bottle fed with Nan. She also has a little bit of colic as per her paediatrician. I see that her stools are putty like and not very soft, is this ok or will the water help for this? She weighed 2.78kg at birth and weighed 2.95kg on Friday.

Your baby is doing well to have regained and passed her birth weight after 12 days. Keep her on her NAN formula only. Do not give her any water.
