Just wash him gently with a soft wash cloth. Do not pull his foreskin back. This is not necessary.

If you have him circumcised, you wont have to worry about cleaning his penis at all and there is no chance he can get infections and his chances of getting a UTI, HIV or any other sexually transmitted disease in the future is diminished greatly. After a long discussion with my pediatrician, my husband and I decided that we did not know what the future for our son''s sexual life would be and had him circumcised. My husband decided to get circumcised as well shortly after that. I did a lot of reading and the benefits outweigh leaving him with a foreskin. If you are that worried about him getting an infection, you may just want him to be circumcised.

Clean your son during his daily bath. Simply wipe as you would a finger and NEVER retract to clean inside. Avoid using harsh soaps and rinse thoroughly.
