The commonest cause of cramps in the legs at this age is due to growing pains. These usually occur at night and there is usually no sign of any actual swelling or redness of the legs or the knee and ankle joints. This pain responds well to Panado or Calpol syrup. Regular nausea is unusual at this age. Often there is a psychological cause for a young child complaining about nausea especially if there is a problem at school such as possibly being bullied there.Try to find out if there is any problem at school.
