Q.

Nappy rash

Dear Doc

The clinic sister told me to apply Medaspor to my baby' s nappy rash. I have done this for 3 days and there is no improvement. I have reverted back to Bepanthan this evening to see if that helps.

Please advise what I should try in the event that the Bepanthan does not sort it out? The redness is mainly on the " top part"  of the nappy area in front, and a little on the bum cheeks.

Thank you for your advice.

You should also change the brand of nappies you are using as sometimes babies develop a reaction to one or other brand of nappies.Try Bepanthen first and if this does not help try Antipeol nappy cream.
