MUMPS

My child is 25 months old and the doc sayz she has mumps ,yes her next is swollen a little but my concern is that she doesnt have any fever .Is there a quick fix to this MUMPS and why does she spit alot since ..

It is unusual that your little girl has mumps as she should have had good immunity to this illness if she had the MMR vaccination at 15 months.There is quite a lot of mumps about now. Sometimes children have hardly any symptoms at all and may not even have a fever when they have mumps.Mumps is caused by a virus infection of the salivary glands and this is why your little daughter is spitting more now. This will stop once the illness is over.
