Multivitamin - not eating fruit and veg

Hi Doc

Please could you recommend a good multivitamin for my LG who is 22 months.
She has recently started eating proper food ie. she now wants to eat herself and not eat mushed up food. The problem is she won' t try any vegetables or fruit - only apple. I used to mix so many vegetables into her food, but now she' s just not interested. You can see she really is hungry, but just won' t try - all she wants to eat is chicken, yoghurt, raisins, cucumber? Obviously, she' s now also getting constipated - although she is definately getting quite a bit of fluids - water and cows milk.

Thank you for your help

PS Any advise on how to get her to eat/ even try veggies would also be greatly appreciated!!!!

It is extremely common for children of this age to refuse to eat fruit or vegetables. With time she will start to do so.In the meantime do not force her to eat anything. Just put the food in front of her at mealtimes and take absolutely no notice about whether she eats everything on her plate or not.She must join the family at all mealtimes now.She probably does not really need a multivitamin but if you would like to give her one then Vidaylin with iron would be a good choice.
