Q.

Mucospect

Dear Doc

My daughter is 2 years and 3 months. She has a wet cough with phlegm on her chest. She seems happy besides the cough. She tends to cough most at night, when lying down.

Please will you advise whether Mucospect is the preferred treatment for this? Is it safe, and for how long should I use it before consulting a doctor, assuming the cough still presists after this treatment?

Thank you very much

You can certainly use Mucospect to help your little girl to cough up the mucous on her chest. You can use this medicine for 5 to 7 days.Keep her nose clear as well by using a saline nose spray such as Sterimar for children or Salex.
