Hi Doc, welcome back..

Just wanted to ask you - my daughter is on Serretide pump twice daily - 2 puffs. She had RSV in April but when tested had no allergies, she does however have a viral wheeze. She has now caught a cold so her chest is a bit phlemmy (that rattle that you can feel when you but your hand on her back). I have been giving her Sterimar for the last week which has kept the cold at bay and the mucous is still clear. This morning she wheezed a bit. Can i give her mucospect while she is on the Seretide pump to try and get rid of some of the phlemgm if it gets worse and also do you think the wheezing could be seasonal change thing becasue she hasnt wheezed since April when the winter started or is it just becasue she has a cold?

Thank you. You do not mention your daughter's age, but she almost certainly has a viral wheezing epizode again. This is called bronchiolitis.Mucospect will help her as you have given an excellent description of her chest symptoms and she seems to have plenty of mucous in her airways.
