Paediatrician

This is an illness caused by a virus called herpes stomatitis. This may lead to your child becoming dehydrated if he cannot drink enough because of his painful mouth. He should be seen by a paediatrician or at an emergency paediatric clinic. If you cannot get him seen tonight use Teejel on the ulcers to give him relief from the pain.

Sounds like your son has hand and foot or what the proper name says... -|- sakievirus (sp??)

my daughter had it and it was incredibly painful for her. she never ate or drank and had blisters everywhere in her mouth

she had to get AB' s and then you can go to the pharmacy so long and get some Mycostatin mouth drops for her - it helped her
