mouth ulcers

Hi doc

My baby 6 months normally get mouth ulcers??? is it normal...its the 3rd time now n they just dssappear afterwards.can u tell me what could it be.

In babies of this age the usual cause of these ulcers is a virus called the herpes virus. It is very unusual for a baby to get recurrent episodes of these mouth ulcers. Please ask your doctor to check your baby's immunity against infections.
