Q.

mouth sores?

My 13 month daughter just started walking and soon developed mouth sores and fever. the fever is gone but she still has sores and refuses to eat...she has lost a bit of weight....I bought mycostatin and somone has recommended Andolex...will these medication hellp my daughter or should I take her to a doctor?...she' s had the sores for almost a week...

These sores are caused by a virus and the condition is called herpes stomatitis. The ulcers in the mouth are painful and your liitle girl cannot eat properly. She runs the risk of becoming dehydrated. She must be seen by a paediatrician.
