Q.

Mouth Candida

Hi Doc, please help really getting worried now, my daughter is 17 months old and since from birth she' s been suffering from the mouth Candida I have tried it all and some of the thing like those drops &  pro-biotics which the doc will prescribe but the minute she stops taking that medication it starts all over again. at some point when she was hospitalized due to some bronchopnumonia the first simptoms that she sick it was the candida and then I was told that it can spread down her troat to her lungs. plz advice I need help, she can' t stay on oral-gels, glecerine(home remedy) &  all these things forever, &  I need to know the risks or if there' s something I' m doing wrong ,,diet or whatever. PLEASE. thanks

Your daughter should not be having repeated episodes of having thrush in her mouth. This is often an indication of a deficiency in immunity. Your daughter must be seen and treated by a paediatrician.
