Q.

MMR

Hi Dr, my daughter had MMR at 18 months and when she went for her 5 year injections the Sister gave MMR to her again, she is now 8 years old. Is it wrong to get MMR twice? Does she need to get Measel injection now? Can she get infected with measels?

Also she had injection against chicken pocks aged 9 months, can she still get chicken pocks?

thank you, Regards LM

It is correct to give the MMR at 15 months and again at about 5 years. She is now fully immunised against measles.Your daughter should also be adequately protected against getting chicken pox.
