milk feed for 4 month

My girl is 4 months now and I just started her on rice cereal(3tsp), she seems to be coping well(normal stools). I have a problem my milk seems to be getting less what can I do to make it more(I am expressing every morning, during day and evening) but it is getting less. Is there a pill that I can take?

You have started your baby on the correct cereal. The natural stimulus to producing breast milk is your baby sucking on your breast. If this does not seem to be working it probably would be best to offer your baby a formula as a supplement to your breast milk. You can choose any one of the popular infant formulas.

This is one of the problems with starting solids early - is that you then produce less milk becuase baby is being fed less milk.

Ideally you should wait until 6 months before introducing solids for a variety of reasons, the main one being the loss of milk supply. You could stop the solids and try again then. Yes, your supply will go down a bit then, but as baby needs to be on solids then and you are slowly decreasing milk until a year when solids become the more important part of nutrition its fine.

Otherwise, you can express for 3 - 5 minutes on each breast immediately after each feed. AFter four days to a week your supply will increase a little. There is no guarantee that your baby will want to drink this expressed milk though, if her tummy is full of solids, you could always try mixing your breastmilk with the cereal though.
