Milk Allergy with Anaphylactic shock

Hi there
My little boy has proven milk allergy with anaphylactic shock been recorded both at 11wk and at 1 year.

He is currently on Similac Alimentum and suffers from Cricopharyngeal inco-ordination sydrome with laryngeal incompetence and doestn eat well.

My questions are this:
1. I have been told that children who suffer from allergies and go into anaphylactic shock dont outgrow them. Is that true?
2. Can my child drink Sterimilk with a dairy allergy? if so, nutritionally which is the better options - the Similac Alimentum or the Sterimilk (considering he takes almost no solids and drinks 1.4l of milk a day?)
3. How often should we run a milk challenge to see if he still reacts?

Thank you

Your son is extemely allergic to cow's milk and presently his allergy is life threatening! He must be under the care of a paediatric allergist. Have you got the necessary emergency treatment in case he has another anaphylactic reaction? This includes an EpipenJr. Please let me know.
He definitely must NOT have Sterimilk now.Similac Alimentum is a highly modified formula and is safe for your child.
Your son has the same chance of outgrowing his milk allergies as any other milk allergic child.
Ideally he should not be challenged again for another full year but must first have a skin test for cows milk as well as a RAST test for cows milk. This is why he needs to be seen by an expert in children's allergies.
