Your son should not be given melatonin together with Ritalin. Ritalin which is actually a stimulant has a special way of helping children with ADHD. Melationin is a natural hormone has been used to help some young children to sleep. It has not been tested for use in ADHD and it's effects are unknown and may cause unwanted side effects.
