medicine for nappy rash

Doctor, what is the best over the counter medicine that you recommend for nappy rash.my daughter has developed a strange rash on her vj and it''s so scary. i tried the castor oil and zinc ointment but it keeps re-appearing.

If your daughter's nappy rash has not responded to Zinc and Castor oil cream she may have a rash caused by candida. First try Antipeol nappy cream and if this does not help after 3 days then use Nystatin Cream applied at least 3 times daily.
