my daughter is 2 and is on one losec mups tablet daily.
dr has prescribed amoxil SF and prozef. must i stop the losec or can she have all medicine.
my paed never did any tests for reflux just prescribed based on bringing up feeds as an infant etc.
should i have her tested for reflux and what does the test involve?

Your daughter should be over the age now when reflux is a problem. If you have not seen any sign of her bringing up food regularly then you can stop the Losec. It is not necessary to do any tests at this stage.I cannot understand why your daughter is on two very similar antibiotics [by similar I mean their cover for certain bacteria]. It is probably best to give her only the Amoxil SF.Give her a probiotic while she is on the Amoxil and for 5 days after the antibiotic.
