Q.

MEASELS

Hi there,

My mother was in contact with my cousin &  he has just developed measels. I have a 6 month old son, is it possible for him to develop measels? What should I be on the look out for besides the fever?

Thanks.
Charlene

If you were not immunised against measles then your baby son is at risk of getting measles.Your baby is too young to have the measles immunisation now.If you were not immunised against measles as a child, you should have the measles immunisation now. Babies who develop measles become very miserable, have a fever and develop a rash all over their bodies.
