Q.

Measels

My LO is going for her measel injection on saterday, so I gave her egg on sunday to check if she will have an allergy reaction to it and she got a little red rash on her tummy, under her lips and around one eye and it' s still there. Do I have to worry about her getting the injection or what do I do now? She doesn' t have a fever but is not eating well. But slept well.

Your baby is definitely allergic to egg but she can still have the measles vaccination. Inform the nurse about her egg allergy. The vaccination can be done in your paediatrician's rooms if you are concerned about this measles vaccination.Your baby must not have any egg now and she should avoid egg carefully until she is at least 2 years old. Most babies grow out of egg allergy.
