hi i have a 6year old daughter who has been sick for the past week, we went to the doctor an he diagnosed tonsilitis, problem is her face is swollen from behind the ears and keeps getting bigger by the day at least she can eat. im really worried

It sounds as if your daughter has mumps. The swelling usually lasts for up to 7 days then starts going down.Mumps can be very painful so give her Panado for pain.
