thank you for your response, i went to the paed yesterday, my little boy has since sunday been terribly pale, face tongue and arms. doc checked him out and is not sure why he is pale. he says the lumps are glands and are normal in infants. doc said that i must watch for other symptoms cause the paleness normally comes with something else ie flu etc. he has a red rash on his arms since yesteryday, he is still eating well, last night he slept for 6 hours which is unusual as he normally wakes every 3 hours, can you give me any indication what could be wrong with him? i bumped him on his soft spot last week and i am concerned his brain is causing the problem. he also gets very hot in his neck at night time, so much so it burns my skin. what could be going on? i dont know what to do - he is 10 weeks yesterday

I am concerned about your baby and again mention that these glands are not common in such a young baby especially if he does not have cradle cap. Your baby seems to be feverish and now has a rash and is very pale. Your baby needs careful investigation in order to make a proper diagnosis of his illness. Please take him back to the paediatrician and do not leave his rooms until he has done blood tests on your baby and you have a clear diagnosis.
