Lump on fore head

My little girl fell out of a swing at creche about 3 weeks ago - she is now 16 months old, she really hit her fore head hard, the school phoned me to report the accident and confirmed that she had the accident and that there was no vomiting and no rolling of the eyes, I''m very thank full that they have checked everything, but my concern is that she is still sitting with a hard lump on her fore head - I did take her to the doctor and he only said there is a lot of blood under the skin but nothing to worry about. I''m still worried, you can''t see the lump, but you can feel it if you brush over her fore head. is it just scar tissue or should I be concerned?

This is not scar tissue. Your doctor gave you the correct explanation. This lump is caused by a small amount of bleeding underneath the covering layer of her forehead bone which was caused by your baby's fall. This is not dangerous. The lump will disappear by itself but will take quite a long time to do so.
