Q.

Lump in the throat, below Adams apple

Hi Doc
Please help me, this morning i realised i have a lumpy feeling in my throat. I only feel it when swallowing something, even water. I tried bread and it was painful(not much) swallowing. What could it be? i' m very concerned and even thinking it might be cancerous.

There is probably no need to be very worried about this swelling. It may be an enlargement of your thyroid gland. You will need to be seen by a doctor. This is the paediatric forum which is for children's health problems and it would be best if you wrote to our Cyberdoc on Health24.
