Q.

lump in arm

hi,
please i need an urgent reply to y question cos'  i don' t know how serious it is.I noticed a lump in my 3 month old son' s upper arm while bathing him this morning,its not on the innuculation site but close to it and its been months since he got a shot there so am sure its not the cause of it.Please i need to know what it is asap.

Paediatrician

This is almost certainly due to an abscess from the BCG immunization site.In most cases no treatment is required and the abscess gets better by itself but it takes a long time to do so. It is always best to see your paediatrician about this abscess as sometimes tretament is advised.
