Q.

Lump

Hi Dr: my daughter is 7 years old. I discovered a small " lump"  behind one of her nipples - almost the size of a pea. Internet ''research'' suggested early development. Should I be worried, and should I seek medical advice?

Your research is correct. This is a very early sign of puberty. As your daughter is only 7 years old this can be regarded as being too early or 'precocious' puberty. It would be best to ask your paediatrician to see her just to make sure that all is well, which I am almost certain will be the result.
