Q.

Low weight and solids

Hi doc, my baby girl is 9 1/2 months and is very healthy and happy. At her last pead appointment her dr said that her weight is a bit lower than it should be and that I should give her cereal for breakfast and then meat for lunch as well as dinner. The problem is that I struggle to get her to eat meat and veggies. She will take a few spoons and then just refuse to eat any more. I do give her between 2 and 3 baby yogurts a day for the added calcium(her milk intake is also a lot less now)and protein. Is this enough and how can I get her to eat more meat and veggies?

Try to get your baby to eat meat or chicken and vegetables once a day if she will do so, but don't worry too much if she won't eat everything at this stage.Babies like pumpkin and butternut as vegetables. The main thing is that she is very happy and healthy. She will eat what she needs.
