Losec Mups vs OMEZ

I started treating my daughters Reflux with Losec Mups when she was 2 months old. Last month my Pharmacist suggested I use OMEZ which worked just as well.

What is your opinion regarding the two?

I did not get a new prescrition a week ago and took her to the doctor and her throught is burned red because of all the acid. Whe are back on the OMEZ now. She also prescribed Motillum which I dont know. How does Motillum work for Reflux? (I believe it is the generic for valoid)

Omez and Losec Mups are the same medicine and you can certainly use Omez for your baby's reflux. Motilium is an anti-reflux medicine which is also known as domperidone. It is not the same as Valoid. It helps to strengthen the valve at the lower end of the oesophagus and prevents food from refluxing up from the stomach. It is a good medicine to use for your baby who appears to still have a reflux problem.
