Q.

Little boy constipated

Morning Dr

My little boy started solids on the 28 Feb. 2 days ago I introduced him to a banana and now he is constipated. Please help? He will be 7 mnths this coming sunday

It is surprising that your baby became so constipated on banana. I presume that he was quite well before he was given banana. As this is a new problem you can use a single infant glycerine suppository to help him, Do not give him banana again until he is well over a year old.

Add a spoon of brown sugar to his milk or food. you could maybe give him a spoonful of olive oil to drink - it helped my kids.
