Q.

liquids for a one year old

Hi dr, my girl just turned one. I breastfed her for the full year but she is now weaned. She doesn''t drink any milk except for the milk I put into her cereal and I feed her 2 yoghurt and cheese during the day. I have tried giving her rooibos , but I find that what she drinks most is water that I mix half with apple juice. She doesn''t drink alot of fluids and like I mentioned, she doesnt like milk so is it ok if I give her a bottle with half water and half apple/grape juice to drink during the day?

You can certainly give your baby the diluted fruit juice once daily at her age.Try her on Parmalat First Growth milk as it has a good taste and many babies who are at least 12 months old are happy to drink this milk.
